New Beginning

I think I just got bored with Xanga--I am going to try this out for a while and see how it is. If I prefer xanga, I might return, but it's worth trying out for a bit.

This week and weekend have been incredible. I have been busy, but the Lord has given me some great encouragement. I have been blessed by the visit of my dear friend, Dennis Jennings. The Jennings family and my family have been friends since before our families were fully families--God is incredible to orchestrate lives like that! It is such a wonderful thing to have older, wiser friends in the ministry who are not only able, but willing to laugh together, cry together, listen to your hurts and dreams, and just allow God to use them in your life.

I have been free to be myself the last few days, and thanks be to God that I was able to rest this weekend. My schoolwork was shuffled around so that I had a breather at the very time Dennis was here--Praise God!

I am looking forward to school being out in just a few weeks, summer courses for the month of May, and then working for the summer. I am praying for doors to be opened for not only housing, but ministry opportunities during the summer months. God is good, and I look forward to growing in Him in the coming months.
